NC Guide and Outfitter Jarrod Umphlett has a second run in with the law on Public Water adjoining Public Lands...

In addition to the previously reported 11 charges Mr. Umphlett faces, including Assualt With a Deadly Weapon With Intent to Kill, he was again written up and charged after allegedly verbally assaulting a father and his young son, just days later while allegedly interfering with their lawful hunt on public waters / land.

It was further reported the Defendant hurled repetitive insults, yelling to the father and his young son...  You "F--king N-----s" over and over again.

Jarrod Umphlett has his first court date in Hyde County on 1/31/2018.

Two Supporting Arrest Warrants ...78 & 79, for the defendants second alleged altercation with a separate party on public waters.

That's hilarious! For hire outfitter arrested for guarding his best public land commercial blind, and the location is published in papers all over the country. Somebody post that pic of his 🐥, she's getting more interest than match.com could offer.

There was a photo of Umphlett and his girlfriend posted from Facebook on another site, she is a sure fire cutie.  She's going to be the winner in this deal who will meet a good guy who respects her and the rights of others on public lands.

If she happens to read this, how's a single wide rabbit box on the lake, a convertible Mustang, prepaid visa card and a brand new burner phone sound?

Someone will trump me, I just didn't want my ol'lady to find out!

Dispute on public waters spills over to public funding and defendants marina.

“This is nothing out of the ordinary for us,” Jarrod Umphlett, owner of the Outer Banks Marina in Wanchese, N.C., told Trade Only Today (Hurricane Author 2014)

Umphlett was interviewed by deputies and initially denied the incident took place, before saying he was on his way to hunt in the lake when he found the other two men. He said he got no closer than 15 feet to the other vessel and grabbed the tiller of the small motor on the johnboat to get them to stop after he saw them hunting in his blind.

Umphlett also said he was trying to protect his gear, and that he was held at gunpoint while unarmed.

The second incident allegedly happened Dec. 27, and was reported two days later by Larry Gammon of Plymouth, who said he was hunting in a blind on Swan Lake when two men in a boat approached them and began threatening him and his 17-year-old son.

The report identified Umphlett, but deputies had not been able to confirm the other man’s identity and did not include a statement from Umphlett.

Umphlett has been charged with two counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, which carry a minimum prison sentence of between 15 and 31 months each.

Updated - 1/27/2017... 10:30pm (Marc Bassnight & Clark Jenkins 2 the Rescue?)

A sitting North Carolina Wildlife Resource Commissioner is thankful to be alive after a trip scouting ducks on public land went terribly wrong.

Reports obtained by Citizens Science indicate, two individuals were lawfully scouting ducks in a remote location known as Swan Lake only accessible by boat, when out of nowhere a much larger deep V bottom vessel barreled around the corner with the suspect hurling vile insults at the Wildlife Commissioner and another sportsman.  The suspect continued towards the Commissioners anchored JonBoat ramming it at a high rate of speed.

The confrontation occurring on public waters that abutted public lands continued to escalate, with the suspect at one point reportedly “having foam excreting from the corners of his mouth”.  Attempts to deescalate the feud were unsuccessful with ultimately a gun being loaded and drawn down on the suspect.
